05.05.2023: Modified internship regulations (Praktikumsordnung) for the bachelor and diploma programmes of the faculty
24.03.2023: Multibody dynamics test
The results of the multi-body dynamics exam are displayed in the Julius-Weisbach-Bau.
Examination viewing is possible on 04.04.2023 from 13:00 to 14:00 in room WEI-214.
Start of the new module "Modeling of Interfacial Phenomena"
In two weeks the new lecture series "Modeling of Interphase Phenomena" will start. Interphase phenomena play an essential role in a wide variety of chemical and metallurgical processes. This includes e.g. the mass and heat transfer at single particles as well as in fixed bed processes and syntheses, the evaporation of droplets, the solidification and melting of mineral and metallurgical components or the interaction of gas and liquid in melting baths.
The lecture conveys in a clear way the physical fundamentals as well as the basics for the modeling of these processes. In accompanying seminars and practical courses, students use simple computational models to analyze interphase phenomena in various process engineering applications.
When and where: lecture: Thursdays, 08:00-09:30, KKB-1069; seminars and labs: Mondays, 18:00 or by individual arrangement.
Please register for the module in OPAL. I can then digitally send you all lecture, training and seminar materials.
23.03.2023: Checking the software tools for the simulation
The results of the check for the software tools for the simulation are hanging in the Julius-Weisbach building. Examination inspection is possible on April 4th, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in room WEI-214.
15.03.2023: Technical Mechanics C Exam
The results of the exam Technical Mechanics C are displayed in the
Julius-Weisbach-Bau. Examination viewing is possible on 23.03.2023 and on 07.04.2023 from 13:00 to 14:00 in room 126a.
09.03.2023: Testing automation systems
The results of the test “Automation Systems” are displayed in the Haus Formgebung (2nd floor, foyer).
Examination is possible on 20. 03. 23 and 23. 03. 2023, respectively from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. in room 2. 223.
